I cannot wait to delve into such a unique class. On a side note: The female pugilist on the top-left looks like she's about to munch on a glazed doughnut of sorts.
What's the difference between Pudgies and Monks? Are monks more defensive? If summoners don't interest me as much as they should when revealed, then I'll be rolling one of these guys, unless the combat system demands something different from me. Just something about looking your enemy in the eye before punching it that seems so satisfying...
I believe Monks are more offensive orientated. I would think you lose a lot though by not being able to equip skills from other classes. I stopped playing XIV before they introduced the new jobs so I am not 10o% sure how it works...
Pug/goldsmith is what i rolled in 1.0 and i really loved it. I thought that it was quite a strange requirement to have PUG job lvl to 15 before being able to do a black mage job class. I hope they tier even higher job classes in the future. There are so many jobs to pull from in previous final fantasy games. Even just FF TACTICS alone which has nearly all of these classes in it.
Sigh. Don't want to remember these right now, most of my Relic party flaked the last few weeks before the final save and we only got a handful of attempts at Ifrit Extreme, and I'm like "Where right there! This is it! We're almost done! *Cries*"
Nice. Are you planning on maining PGL Rejha? Looking forward to some ass kicking monks in the Silver Tongues!
Well, my plan is to start out becoming a Dragoon. Then Monk is second, most likely. I'm gonna be experimenting with them with P4, which is my first phase, so I'm just gonna see what feels right.
Sounds pretty sweet. I assume movement speed includes attack speed as well? Or is it just "running" speed?
Should be movement speed. But I only got to 22 before it shut down so I can't say for sure. I only noticed it today and it would be such a huge advantage in PvP. Once you catch them you hit earth fist for -10% damage.
