Summoner Pet DPS bug? something strange

    So, I was doing some parses with FFXIVAPP on my summoner.

    I used Ifrit, and Garuda pets, and had them only casting their 'main' nuke, on "obey" command.

    I expected Ifrit to do more damage, since the base potency is 120, and Ifrit did 60.5 DPS

    However, Garuda did like 62 DPS, however the Garuda main nuke is 100 potency (20 lower).

    So why does a lower potency nuke do slightly or equal damage? This seems like a bug.

    Yep, that's pretty much it. Despite what appearances may say, the standard attacks on the global cooldown are firstly non-elemental and secondly tailored towards the specific role the egis are intended to reflect: in Ifrit's case, melee dps and in Garuda's case, ranged dps.
