Malboro players say hello

I'm here. All hail Malboro, the server we all joined because Hyperion was full.

 

I didn't join Malboro because another server was full This was my target server from the get-go.

Ahoy. I purposefully chose Malboro though granted I only did so because it was what I was defaulted to and had no desire/reason to go anywhere else.

Also, Malboros and their like are cool looking.

 

When all the other servers were full I did actually pick Malboro because it sounded better than the other servers. I feel like I'm going to end up transferring to another server down the road, though, unless something drastically changes upon release. It seems so lonesome over here

I'm malboro, I originally wanted to go to shiva because that was the world I was in for ff11 but now that I'm here whatever. It's all the same.

 

Haha... My guild and I (BYX) originally planned on Leviathan... but nonetheless, I'm am extremely excited and glad I ended up in Malboro...

I mean, let me be honest, Malboro is one of the few monsters to ever kill me in my favorite game of all time (FFX). XD

 

Im on Malboro too. Wasnt my original server of choice, was on Cactuar during Phase 3, but since Ive started leveling I may stick around

 

All servers will even out, eventually (if the game remains popular/resilient). Besides...

 

Lol yeah cant deny that, Malboros are everyones most favorite hated enemy haha, how can you not love that face?

I didn't really choose the server.. Only the group of people i will be playing with chose that one (was originally Behemoth but they changed their mind 2 days before P4).. By default had to follow. It seems good enough in game for me, but we shall see saturday. I'd rather start on a less populated server in the beginning anyways.

I find it funny that such an iconic monster of the series is so unpopular. Specially one that had such a great ability at kicking anyone's butt. x] "Oh you forgot your white mage to remove status ailments and are out of the items? Let me bad breath 3X during the fight just to be sure it works".

 

In actuality the server seemed extremely active/full to me during beta 4. I mean, chats were always busy and there were people everywhere. It's just that a lot of people from earlier betas / legacy FFXIV are on other servers already so it mostly seems like the other servers aren't getting any love.

I'm still going to Balmung, though. Gotta RP :3

 

Well I got onto phase 4 a day late, by then they had prevented people from creating characters on the majority of the servers and were filtering off to the 'less popular' servers I think. Then they did away with that all together, including Malboro registration and started filtering people to the new servers they had to make during phase 4. I was surprised too with the amount of people around even regarding those circumstances and it was very active from what I saw. I think we'll see a bit more of this during final release.
