FFXIV NooB!

Hey whats up guys! Brand new to ARR and just started playing recently for about a week to two. Making decent progress since recently my schedule has been busy but hoping to meet new people and learn a whole lot more. Not going to lie though, I'm fairly new to MMORPG's and I really dont follow through with games like this but being a FF fanatic and persuasive conversations with a friend of mine I decided to try it out and must I say that I'm really hooked! Hoping to learn a lot from the community and party up and meet some new people.

Welcome! Word of advice to anyone new to.the MMO scene, do not get discouraged by the poisonous players out there.

 

Thanks for the advice but yeah I ran into a few of them "cool kids" when I was just trying to find a Fate group and they started using all their hip lingo and terms and slangs lol, but what game doesnt have their cool kids. Still learning up on it all lol

 

Yeah. There can be some real assclowns out there. My advice would be to find a chilled FC as soon as possible and make friends with nice folks. A big part of MMOs is the social aspect. What server are you on?

I already am in a FC my buddy who convinced me invited me to his but they're all so high leveled and far into the game that I'm just a loner so it kind of sucks. But I'm on Malboro. Thanks for the welcome Brandon and trust me I'm pretty much a forum whore but I'm usually all over car forums never thought about joining a video game one haha

 

I'm new too bro! Loving the game so far. I played WoW and Rift a little bit, but this might be the first MMO that I fully commit to (when I can). So far, so good. Enjoying everything. (Also my first forum to star posting in lol)

 

Helix (and others, for that matter), if you wanna join a noob FC with a focus on helping each other, with casual RP style, then hit me up or check my thread in the RP section.

 

Even if everyone is high lvl they still can do most if not all the lower lvl content with you.

 

Welcome! This was my first MMO as well, and it took me a while to get the hang of some things (enmity system), I quickly feel I love with the game. I'm on the Brynhildr server, but maybe the Duty Finder will match us up in a dungeon at some point.
