My brother bitched endlessly about the end of 2.55 and the unnecessary self-sacrifice (why couldn't Yda and Papalymo have knocked the gate down *behind* them and escaped with everyone else?). But I found it dramatic and powerful like you did, and if the 3.0 story had built on it instead of discarding it, it'd have been better.

At least they half-killed Minfilia, the one Scion I was positive would still be alive

Problem with Mostly Dead characters is they can be brought back...and she will mark my words.

Personally I think they should have game of thrones'd the scions.

I don't think ALL of them should have died. I didn't buy for a second that any of the Scions had. But I had money on the Sultana. That's the only one that... I mean, if some Scions turn out to be alive, that doesn't negate everything we (and Raubahn) went through in 2.55. Undoing the Sultana's death does. It was a terrible choice.

Yeah I agree. I like the way they have done skills too. I also like games where you feel your progress is actually helping the people in the game. Makes it more immersive.

Maybes I'm weird but I just didn't get into it. While playing it, it made me want to play Destiny lol

Also, laziness is underrated

I totally know that feeling! I'm a newbie and take my sweet time to take in at the very least the main quest story line to become part of the world! Don't let your fun get ruined by others. :)

The Valentines event will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the first one I participated in and I freaking love the Female reward costume ^^

GLA is harder to level, but WAR is harder at endgame. Once at 50 if you know the basic PLD rotation, then its just learning when to pop your buffs!
