    Masters of Science and Nature, the devilish and the divine, alchemists ensure their livelihood through the transmogrification of mundane materials into wondrous waters─from curative concoctions to potent potables.
    The Ul'dahn school only recently came to be recognized in scientific circles as a valid branch of alchemical orthodoxy. It is based on fundamental principles originating in the Near East tradition, but draws heavily upon esoteric elements of both Lalafellin herbalism and Miqo'te occultism as well.

    Frondale's Phrontistery, a school of Alchemy based in Ul'dah, started out as a group dedicated to unlocking the secrets of transmutation, that of metals to be exact. Their goal was to increase the yields of precious metals from the mines surrounding the then newly founded city-state, in an effort speed up the progress of the founding.

    The original members never managed to unlock the secrets of transmutation, but in the process of creating concoctions that might have made all of Ul'dah rich, they instead managed to create various elixirs, potions, and tonics, which could be used for medicinal purposes, especially in the hostile deep shafts of the mines.

    Frondale's Phrontistery has since its inception, had an open door policy, in regards to who it allows to work for the guild. Race, nationality, and gender, none of these has played any role, when accepting new members in to the guild, to the disatisfaction of some of their clientele.

    CP - Craft Points: They're what allows you to use Abilities in any craft, it is wise to have a lot of CP generally for most players.

    Craftsmenship: This is what increases you're progress in synthesis. This is for both quality and progress. (needs verification.)

    Control: Increases your overall success rate for all Abilities.

    Note: Base stats MAY help (such as STR, VIT, DEX, ETC) certain crafts aswell. However as of Beta Phase 3, There is no way of telling exactly which stats help each craft.
