Returning players seeking FC (WHM, SMN). Eastern Timezone.

Hello!

A friend and I have recently returned to FFXIV and we're looking to join up with some fun/friendly people.
We stopped playing back when max ilvl was 90, so we've had some catching up to do. We're still trying to finish the main story quests while regearing. I am currently ilvl 112 (WHM), and my friend's at ilvl 106 (SMN). We're working on improving on that though.
Ideally we're looking for a fun/mature group of people who are getting ready for the new expansion. Some raiding would be nice too. We're eastern timezone players but we're usually up very late. Schedules are pretty flexible, except for my friend raiding in WoW Tues-Thurs.
I guess that's it, gonna keep it short and sweet. If you have any questions for me please reply and I'll do my best to answer them.

@praysolace runs our FC (Bastion) - we have a solid raiding group on Fridays starting around 8CST (just started the coils a few weeks ago), and we try to just have a lot of fun. We've got a house in the Lavender Beds, a forum/website, and a GroupMe for both casual and raid conversation. Message Roawn Eliot in game if you have questions

 

I wouldn't say we have a "solid raid group," as we only have about 5 players who are even in second coil and of those 5 we only seem to be able to get 4 on at a time, max ^^; But we're working on it. We usually run some extreme mode primals on Friday nights so newer level 50 players can clear, and then we've started heading to T5 late when our second healer gets on.

So, if you're looking for a group that's solid on raids, that's probably not us, haha.

But if you're just looking for a group that's friendly and crazy and fun, it could be :3 We're very social and very talkative, and while coil runs are our Achilles heel, we usually get at least partial groups together to run most other things. We're fairly casual and more focused on making friends than getting clears. I don't know if that's the sort of place you're looking for, but you're welcome to chat if you think it might be

 

You know Rowan you can ask in the LS if you can't fill for your coil runs, If we are not doing something ourselves, I am sure members of my FC and others would be willing to help out.

 

Appreciate that. However, considering we've at most got half a party, those four of us have agreed to spend our FC raid nights helping other guildies get up to second coil instead of running off by ourselves to beat T9 :3 Especially since of those four who get on at the same time, three of us are siblings XD Feels bizarrely self-serving to try and make a run out of just us plus Fred, lol.
