was reading the guide you say to stay on your main class. and focus leveling that and when you hit 30 to then do your job quest (leveling alts on side)

what if your main job you want is Ninja and you dont get Rouge the alt class but one you need to get to 30 till you leave your starter area if you choose Puligist.
would it be better for people aspering for that in class to once they hit level 15 with pulgist and can travel to the other two places.. to then pick up rouge and level it up with side quests till level 15. then continue with that on main quest's? so that it is the one that gets to level 30 on main quests in so you can get ninja job?

Chances are this guide was written before Ninja was released, therefore not factoring it in. However, you are correct, if starting a new character with the view of being Ninja you would have to start the game a Pugilist and travel to Limsa as soon as you are able (since by then you will be over level 15)

One part is inaqurate , if you start in say either gridania or uldah. And only do class quest to level 10, you can run from either place and then pick up the other classes. But only from those two areas. Limsa is locked until you get on the Airship. I played as a gladiator in gridania from the first to last story quest before getting on the airship
