I was just talking with my friends like this, "it was Caimie's amazing crafting guides that led me into crafting and now we are building our own", and look who's back! :dreamy:

The Chinese server is entering 4.0 in this month and we hopefully can share our findings here~

Also, thank you again for your dedicated guides, just as before!

Thank you so much for your kind support! The guide is far from finished. It is currently still under construction. I'm still working on the "Leveling Strategies" part. And then I'll have a section dedicated to 1 star and 2 star crafting. 2 star macros is not something new. It has been around for quite some time now. But there are actually many different 2 star macros. My section will be dedicated to showcasing different 2 star macros, and compare them. By the time I finish all these, I think Patch 4.1 will kick in already, so there will be new crafting contents to be studied and to be added into the guide as well.

So, I used your manual crafting guide for the new 4.2 recipes, specifically nightsteel ingots, and it worked perfectly for me (96-100% HQ chance depending upon how many Tricks I get) even without food or med buffs. The only part I had to skip was the second set of prudents (I subbed with HT2's and precises on goods) and the GS at the end. Am I just getting lucky? My stats are 1562 craft, 1364 ctrl, and 434 cp.

HT2 are a bit riskier, but they are all fine and dandy when they land successfully.
The manual crafting rotation listed there is just a "framework", you can certain tweak it as much as you want. That's the beauty of manual crafting, right? If you get lucky, you can certainly skip some stuff. If you get unlucky, you can also do things differently to turn the corner. Later when you have more stats though, you can macro them all, and get them done quicker. Tbh, these 3 star recipes (35 durab and 70 durab) are both easier than the special 2 star recipes (like Snailfish oil) introduced in the previous patch.

I used your guides for a long time[Actually the reason I first came to this site!] but I think they are fantastic!! As always everyone crafts a bit differently but in the end the result is more often than not the same with all great crafters they just tinker with it in the end to satisfy them. I'm just trying to come up with the next Diamond rotation for stormblood like the one you had in your lv 50 guide. If I come up with it before you i'll label THAT as my greatest achievement. Until then keep up the fantabulous work!!

Actually, "Miracle+Rumination" is even more powerful than "Miracle+Brow". In our 4.2 3-star specialist rotation, Rumination can provide extra CP for synthesis, which results in significantly lower gear requirements.
