I've really been enjoying these listened to all 6 of them while playing this morning, on that note what do you think about seeing a comeback for corsair that was one of my favorite classes in ff-xiv that also and what type of original classes would be fun to see. Like a mage tank class would be pretty cool and original.
I've listened to a few XIV podcasts and this one is my favorite. Your conversation is lively, you present multiple perspectives and work off each other pretty well. I'm tuning in for my third week now and looking forward to next week already.
That being said can I suggest laying off on the f-bombs within the Podcast? It is not that I am offended by so called profanity, but the language is jarring when it comes out because the rest of it is so well done, the colorful verbiage detracts...
Great start! I'm going to definitely check out the rest and comment on those too.
There are two things I'd like to see:
1) More personality! Make me want to listen to YOU and not necessarily the information you're giving. I thought the rant was great! It made me want to rant at the ranter.
2) Change of the episode titles. The titles should give an indication on what the topic you were discussing. It could be a simple list such as "Live Letters, Beta, Questions" or something humourous like "TENT TEXTURES?!". That would give the listener a sense of direction and wonder.
I completely understand the frustration. I was not able to log in since the first day of Early Access. that being said however, I am still very excited to play when I get home from work today :)
Not at you, but i havent been able to play a lot of this game. Maybe if you include last night (after an hour of login issues) and saturday morning, i have had maaayybe a full day. out of 3 days of trying constantly, all 72 hours.
In Phase 4, all the duty finders worked fine, and there were a ton of people crafting. Even the first day of Early Access (at least the beginning, the duty finder was not broken and there were still a sh**load of people crafting. I am just disagreeing with the podcast in stating that I think there will be more crafting than most people expect....
